3D Technology Agency – the highest in world football, FIFA, plans to broadcast 25 World Cup matches in a technological format three-dimensional (3D). 3DFIFA telecast will work with its partners over the years, Sony to realize 3D impressions popularized by the blockbuster movie Avatar, James Cameron’s direction.

Attendance at a country wishing to watch a soccer game should have a 3D format and 3D television owners choose to watch from the official broadcast 3D and wearing special glasses. A number of countries have the right to broadcast the 3D game telecast. “Disney ESPN in the United States, Prisa in Spain and Sogecable SBS Korea has 3D broadcasting rights,” said Niclas Ericson Fifa Television Director told Reuter.

“It would be many more deals are expected to be announced soon,” Ericson added.

Eriscon expect several hundred thousand people watched the broadcast one game in 3D, although he also acknowledged the audience would rather watch the 3D show at the cinema.  Sony hopes these tournament parties to arouse the audience will 3D technology. Sony also plans to publish 3D-format game promotional trailers stores worldwide.

Beginning in June from the Japanese electronics giant will begin marketing products 3D television. Sony will compete with other products, which also markets 3d tvs like LG, Panasonic and Samsung. Technology research firm iSuppli estimates that approximately 4.2 million 3D TV sets will be sold worldwide this year with an average price of 1768 dollars.

These sales will increase to 78 million units in 2015, worth a total 64.4 billion dollars.

“This will be a much richer experience, and will be many challenges in it,” said David Bush, Director of Marketing Sony.
